The first thing that you need to know about is that many prostate cancer treatments are not effective, and in fact, don't even work in about 10 percent of the cases. This is because the prostate has a very tight connection with the spinal cord and is extremely sensitive to changes in electrical currents. If your prostate is not working properly or is not getting enough treatment, it will often get worse. I've seen many patients who did not respond to therapy for a few years, then got better, only to get worse again. Some even went as far as to lose their lives in a failed attempt to recover. So how do you get the best results with a treatment for a healthy prostate? The main question I've been asked over and over again is "Do you want to lose weight?" I've received dozens of emails from patients who want to lose weight, but are not sure if a particular diet or exercise plan is right for them. For many, the answer is no. For this, they'll have to make a diet and/or exercise plan that suits them better. You need to find the right balance of protein and carbohydrates, and take in a variety of good fats from the foods you eat. A balanced diet is a good start, but there's no such thing as a perfect diet.
